“Inspirational” Photography

“I’ve had a camera ever since I was old enough to know how to use one. Never anything expensive, but mine none the less. Even in elementary school, I was getting candids of family and friends, although not always appreciated by all. My favorite was to try to capture all the colors and beauty of the sunsets on the beach where my Dad lived in Ft. Myers. As camera’s improved, so did I. A camera’s challenge is to capture what the human eye can see. A photographer’s challenge is to capture a moment in time, preserve it for others to enjoy, and make others feel how I felt at that moment.

The idea for the quotations came because I had collected so many over the years, had them taped all over my refrigerator, and I finally decided to do something with them. I am fortunate to live in such a beautiful place as St. Augustine, with it’s beautiful beaches, sunrises and history. I hope you will get as much enjoyment out of the photo as I did taking it. Remember, there is beauty all around us, sometimes you just have to stop and take the time to see it.”
